Lesson from the Winter Trees

I feel inspired every time when I see the trees in my neighborhood. In winter, starting from November to March, they do not have any leaves and they just go in a deep sleep mode, almost like they are dead. But again, when the winter goes away, spring comes up, they bloom with flowers, and then with green, as if nothing happened to them. Each year they bring life with more vigor, and with more wisdom. I do find a lesson from the winter trees and it means to me something.

While looking at them, I do realize bad times are part of life and there are simple ways to manage and live with it. The tress of my region waits for the good days to come, with patience and silence. They suffer the harshness of the winter for 4-6 months of every year and then they revive with spontaneity. The resilience they have is so charismatic.

Such a life stamina they have! How could I not be inspired by this.

Bad Times are Inevitable, Hang On There, It Will Pass

Life happens to them very naturally. Ups and downs, being alive and dead are part of their life, and this cycle of life they have adopted seamlessly. The difference between January and June is so vivid, just like the dead and alive. Such a transition is rare to see any other part of nature.

When I see them closely, the greens, sunshine over the trees, and when they bloom with flowers, it’s impossible not to inspire by it. It talks so loudly that bad times are inevitable, hang on there, it will pass, it’s a phase on life and again bloom will come. The rhythm of life, and as days go by, being alive and being part of the whole nature and universe itself is an amazing experience.

I haven’t seen this in the topical area, but in upstate New York, this is the fact for many types of trees, except pines, they are so strong nothing can break them and they remain green even in the harsh winter season.

I have posted a series of images on winter trees and my neighborhood wrapped up with snow. Please have a look, you might find it interesting with this connection.
